When we moved a year ago, we never anticipated just how much we would be able to grow and change. September 5th marks a year since reopening in the 1000 block of Caroline Street, and we couldn’t be more excited for the many years ahead! Some of our favorite perks: parking in the back, loading area for any sized furniture, double doors in the front, giant windows to better see our products, and an up and coming block of downtown!
We have customers who continue to rediscover our location, and each one asks how we like our new space. The answer is simple: we couldn’t be happier! Not only has it enabled us to expand and change, but it’s provided us with the backdrop we needed to reintroduce ourselves as a furniture store. We still have fantastic gifts and home accessories, but we’ve also been able to show off the brands that we started carrying long before we moved. They were hidden in our previous 1400 square feet, but shine in the (almost) 4,000 we now enjoy.
Along with our own line of exclusively designed and built pieces, we’re fortunate to represent three American-made manufacturers. They are American Leather, from Dallas,Texas, Copeland Furniture, in Bradford, Vermont, and Rowe Furniture, in Elliston, Virginia.
Each allow us to extend our own line of products and provide Fredericksburg with a truly unique furniture shopping experience. American Leather has only the best quality leather and fabric, with cushions and frames made to last a lifetime. Copeland Furniture creates solid wood tables that can easily extend to accommodate a crowd, as well as bedroom sets, office items, and occasional pieces. Rowe Furniture combines traditional and modern construction methods that create items that can seamlessly transition into any stye room, which we offer in over 200 Kid Proof Fabrics.
We’re so grateful for where we started, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds! As for what our immediate future has “in store” check out our shop section of the website, look us up on Facebook or Instagram, or come see us at 1023 Caroline Street!
